San Francisco is well known around the world for its diverse art scene and local talent. The Mission Arts Performance Project (MAPP) is hosting an art and performance crawl this weekend in the Mission District of the city.

Mission Arts Performance Project

The MAPP was established in 2003 as a way to bring people in the arts community together to share talent and ideas without needed a lot of money to do so. The Mission Arts Performance Project is dedicated to involving artists with the people in their community to create a place for artistic sharing and exploration.

Saturday April 6th 6:00 p.m.

This weekend MAPP is going to host an art and performance crawl that will span over 20 venues in the Mission Disctrict. The event will take ordinary city spaces and transform them for the evening into whatever strikes the artists involved. The scene can be transformed into anything from live music and BBQ to performance art or film screenings.

Join the members of MAPP for a truly authentic San Francisco art scene event before returning back to your cozy SF bed and breakfast at the Washington Square Inn.
