Coit Tower on Telegraph hill is one of San Francisco, CA’s most popular historic landmarks and can be seen from many locations in the city (including views from the Inn). While visiting Coit Tower you can enjoy wonderful panoramic views of San Francisco sights from the top of the tower including Alcatraz Island, Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Financial District and more. The monument was built in honor of San Francisco, California’s volunteer firemen in 1933 and features historic murals displayed throughout the building. Washington Square Inn is conveniently located a few blocks from the Coit Tower.
